Ingredients
  

  • 2 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Italian seasoned preferred
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Chicken: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season them with salt and pepper.
  • Coat the Chicken: In a shallow dish, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder. Dip each chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere the crumbs well.
  • Air Fry: Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Place the breaded chicken breasts in the basket in a single layer. Lightly spray the tops with olive oil. Cook for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for another 5 minutes until the chicken is golden and cooked through.
  • Add Sauce and Cheese: Once the chicken is cooked, carefully spoon marinara sauce over each piece and top with shredded mozzarella. Return to the air fryer and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve: Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve it hot, garnished with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
